Regarding the arch in the lower back, it’s important to maintain your natural curve.During the “petit up” with feet on the floor, you can slightly engage it more to feel the lower belly stretch and lengthen.
In my method, what matters most is executing the fundamentals correctly:
Inhale and let the belly soften
Align the right and left sides of the body
Start making the “ahaha” sound
Then perform the movement
Finish with the petit up and self-lengthening
With this, you have a strong foundation to approach all kinds of movements.
